Sea Scout Ship 410 is planning multiple joint events with the USCG Auxiliary and other area Scout Ships and Troops. In 2018, Ship 410 received recognition for the Water Safety Weekend event they planned and conducted in cooperation with the USCG Aux where Scouts in both Ships and Troops earned their State and National Boater Safety certification from the USCG Aux while also being taught basic sailing skill by the Ship 410 Sea Scouts before finally being taken out for demo rides with Lake Belton Yacht Club skippers where they were allowed to get some time practicing what they had learned over the weekend.

In 2019, Ship 410 plans to conduct the Water Safety Weekend event again while adding a Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge campout led in conjunction with Ship 911. Ship 410 is still looking for other opportunities to work with other area units to promote sailing and Sea Scouting.
